I bought the black denim color in size M based on the size chart. I don't know if the shorts I received were defective, but the size was much bigger than I had expected. The waist measures ~29.5 inches and the legs are very wide. Otherwise, however, the shorts have good material and design! I will reorder in size S, and hopefully they'll fit better.
